in a german childrens book from author michael ende, there is a fake giant (scheinriese), who looks really really big from far away, but he gets smaller and smaller when he comes nearer to you. once arrived, he is just like the next guy. liebe ist ein scheinriese.

and i too don't know nothing about it, but i'm still curious. been in love a few times, but always came out of it, you know, with love but without a man.
